Frozen Charlotte Dolls

Frozen Charlotte Dolls

Frozen Charlotte dolls were very popular in Germany from around 1860 onwards
They originated from an old folk story about a poor young girl who was going to her first ball
So taken was she by her beautiful gown, having never dressed in such a fine way before, she refused to cover up and protect herself from the cold on her sleigh ride to the party and froze to death

The dolls are salvaged and all have broken limbs and chips but still make lovely display pieces and look great great in a printers tray
Should you wish to select your own doll, please message me and I’ll send you a picture to choose from
They are available individually, in 3 sizes.
10cm, 8cm or 6cm tall
